TribalCon FAQ - input needed!

topic posted Tue, June 10, 2008 - 11:00 AM by  Laura
Hello ladies and gents! I am compiling a list of FAQ to put on the TribalCon website, which will also be sent out when people register. Please please send me any questions you may have heard pop up during this or any TribalCon event.. or if you attended and were wondering about something while you were there. We are trying to make the whole process of registering and organizing as painless as possible, and though we have made a lot of changes on trouble shooting lists and such, I think we can all agree that a FAQ page is EXTREMELY helpful.. It's not just a general resource list for staff, but for anyone who would like to attend TribalCon.

Thanks so much!

There was a lot of confusion last year from my students on the following:

    1. registering for the show tickets. Many of my students had problems - thought they'd done it right then discovered they hadn't, couldn't figure out how to do it in the first place.

    2. Checks were held and that freaked out some of my students. They thought their registration had been lost. maybe a statement addressing the check policy???

    Halleyah :)

Thank you! I will put both of these in the FAQ. It really helps to hear questions from people not on the staff because we basically know most of what is going on already, so we may not think of those questions. :-)

Reserved seating for pre-paid show tickets was unclear last time around. If that could be stressed more clearly, it should reduce stress at the theatre. :)

Y'all did a great job of pointing out nearby services (restaurants etc). I remember doing a couple of grocery-store runs but don't remember if you had those listed as well. May help those who camp indoors. A friend tried finding the organic/vegan one in Little Five Points but didn't have luck. Maps rock.

For those who want to get out for a day, a list of MARTA-friendly attractions would rock. I love the Decatur HI because it's so easy to get downtown. Leverage that synergy.
