While we are not having childcare this year (the extra ballroom is booked with a massage therapist convention) there are plenty of kids around and plenty of people watching kids at any given time, Mari and Cassie have both offered to watch kids off and on during the weekend. I brought Ava to workshops and festivals throughout her entire childhood and we coped just fine. While it is not an ideal situation as far as getting tons out of the event dance study-wise I can tell you that my daughter has an amazing sense of musicality and her belly rolls are the best I have ever seen (she is four!).
