I have always gotten con crud after attending TribalCon since its inception (in all fairness I get con crud at/after DragonCon too), and even though I couldn't make it this year (insert very sad face here), I think I got a case of Sympathetic Con Crud going on up here in Alaska.
I will be there next year though...just waiting for tickets to go on sale and dates to be announced so I can make airfare arrangements now!

(perhaps Ouzo has magic flu killing abilities, I do notice a similar flava in some cough syrups.......hhmmmm) -

Sat, February 28, 2009 - 6:38 AMohhh. i gave it to my daughter...luckily her immune system is strong and she only got the sniffles...gave it to the husband...he's laid out in the bed feeling like crap right now....
i feel like my body is fighting it and im getting over it slowly but ohhhhhhhh.......the benefits of having hundreds of people in one tight space sweating and hugging and everything else lol. *cough cough*
i suppose this is like our parting gift...you didnt dance hard enough if your not sick!!! lol
oh even though im sick i wish tribalcon 2010 was this weekend lol

Sat, February 28, 2009 - 9:09 AMI never do. I do a lot of cons (sci/fantasy genres) and I'm one of the few who doesn't get what everyone else does.
I don't know, maybe it's just delicate immune systems and/or stress?? Maybe if there was a way people could start to fortify and just amp up their immune systems a bit more before heading in?
I dunno, just wondering what could help.
